Gateway AMIAR

The communicator that links the meter network to the platform.

It joins the Mesh network alongside the meters and provides the Internet uplink over Wi-Fi, LAN or 4G. Each Internet-connected gateway supports a network of up to 1,000 meters.

Redundant network

Multiple paths for every piece of data

All devices are linked by radio, so every message has multiple paths to reach the head end. Each new device inherits the network's attributes and contributes its own: the network grows stronger with every installation.

With two or more Internet-connected gateways, if one loses its connection the other takes over the traffic immediately and automatically.

  • Automatic, intelligent routingNo initial setup required for radio communication.
  • Power outage detectionThe internal battery ensures the meters' last-gasp alerts reach the platform.
  • Remote managementStatus and communication quality of each device, plus remote firmware updates.
  • Arrives ready to installSupplied with power supply and battery.

Meters

Wireless Mesh network: each one relays for the others.

Gateway

Internet uplink over Wi-Fi, LAN or 4G.

CLOUD AMIAR

Web-based management, at no cost.

Versions

One product, three ways to connect

Choose based on the connectivity available at each site. In the most remote areas, a 4G gateway at the last spot with signal extends the network to where there is none.

Tower installation

More height, more coverage

On 35 to 50 m towers goes a radio-only unit, in an aluminum enclosure with a fiberglass antenna, powered at 12 V. The Internet-connected gateway stays at the bottom: no need to climb up to maintain a network cable.

Rural installation

Protecting the signal

The gateway must not be mounted on reinforced concrete poles or metal columns, because they block radio frequency. We provide a rural installation guide with every project.
